Getting in to production Lighting

I started Production lighting in October of 2009 this was at the Academy at Shotton Hall the way in witch i got in to this was by wanting to go on to the stage and preform, but one day i was the the school theatre and the school technician was there doing some lighting rigging and i asked him what he was doing and he started explaining and then went on to show me how to work the lighting console and operate moving lighting on a zero 88 leapfrog and this is how I got in to the lighting world of theatre.
